@SpyderTracks @barlew

Ive downloaded the nvidia drivers as instructed, I get no errors, but still only see the one intel gpu display in dxdiag.
That's because it's only using 1 GPU at a time, it auto switches between them so DXDiag will only show what's currently active.

Mine only shows the one also:

Yes I think it installed. I installed it at least through their website and it is okay in the device manager.
Still cant get nvidia control panel to work.
When you say you reinstalled control panel, where did you source it from? Can you provide a link?

And just for confirmation, how are you opening control panel, where from?

I think it was installed through Microsoft store. I dont know where else to install the control panel from, but I just uninstalled it.

Control panel is included with the driver. Just right click on the desktop and try opening it from there.

The windows store one won't be connected to the driver so won't work. You've installed the full fat version.

I know the normal behaviour with it, however it never appeared to me on this laptop when right clicking. Not this time either. And now I obviously uninstalled it because it didnt work, so now I dont know where to install it from again.

You’ll need to reinstall the driver.

I did now, and it still doesn't work. Hasn't worked even once the whole day, and I reinstalled many times before the windows reinstall too.
Did they make a mistake during testing of my laptop? Do I need to return it?
I've tried everything you guys have told me and it still doesn't work. Reinstalling doesn't seem to change it, but I am willing to try every thing untill I can get a hold of PCSPECIALIST on monday... :(

I think I know what may be going on here.

Try this.

Download the latest driver package so it's ready somewhere.

Get DDU ready to run.

Disconnect from the network (very important)

Reboot into safe mode

Run DDU uninstall nvidia drivers and reboot.

Keep it off the network

Run the nvidia driver installer and install.

This is an issue with the newer DCH drivers that nvidia is pushing. When you uninstall the nvidia drivers and reboot, if it's on the network, windows update will automatically install the DCH driver which then causes loads of issues.

There's nothing wrong with the laptop, welcome to windows!

Sadly that was not the solution either. I tried everything as you said. Went offline, forgot the network just to be sure, had the drivers and ddu ready.

Control panel still does not work :(

And you were in safe mode when you used ddu?

Sorry, I added that bit a bit later, I’d missed it.
