There is specific RAM optimised for AMD DDR5 systems...it's related to AMD's RAM overclocking facility (EXPO). It's basically their version of Intel's XMP.

Here's the RAM in question (I think):

So from what i understand, it just has pre adjusted bios ram profiles? might just change the ram to the non amd version then

The AMD RAM is more beneficial to an AM5 system as it's tuned to AMDs own overclock profiles.

Basically any RAM these days is running overclocked. The native speed the board can support is 5200MHz, anything over that applies an overclock to the memory fabric of the CPU.

AMD EXPO is far better to use on AM5 generally.
