Windows Username!

Afternoon all,


Nothing major but I have a new PC arrived from PCS but in the windows then users the name is incorrect. The folder is rober when in fact it should be Robert!

I have OCD and it is a bit annoying.

Is there anyway I can change this without creating a whole new profile?

Yep Windows 10 truncates that folder name to 5 characters, I've no idea why. My ubuysa is truncated to ubuys.

Indeed it is annoying. A quick search suggests it's a known bug for which there is as yet no fix.

My work PC is running Windows 10 and that has my full name correctly including surname.

Do you use a local sign in or a Microsoft account? The problem seems to be with Microsoft accounts.
