Windows Edge Black Screen after VBios update?!

Hi,

So I recently updated my VBios for the RX 5600XT from ASUS (The TUF X3 OC) and since then, windows edge opens up with a black display. Nothing shows whatsoever. When I attempt to uninstall Edge however, I open a new tab and the webpage loads as normal.

Is there any reason why this is happening and is there any way it can be resolved?

Just try clearing the browser cache.

Hi, I've tried clearing the cache to no success. Opening Edge as normal results in this;

As you can see, it only shows half of the browser itself

Have you tried reinstalling the gpu driver?

Not yet as I'm not 100% how to do so. Do I just uninstall drivers from device manager or use DDU?

Furthermore, this black screen is only happening on Windows Edge; everything is working as intended. Could this be a bug on Windows Edge?

At a guess, and based only on what you've said, it would seem that Edge doesn't like something in the VBIOS you installed.....

That's what I would say, yeah. Everything else works perfectly (I'm using Chrome for the time being) so maybe I just have to wait for Microsoft to release an update for Edge?

You could move over to the chromium based edge. It's been generally available for a while now.
