I'm no expert but you have Intel RST Premium mode selected and AFAIK that's only required for RAID, and that requires two matched drives. Is it possible that Windows can't see the drive because the BIOS setting has it in RAID configuration that's not complete?

What other modes are available there?

Should i change the PORT 9 to RST Controlled?

Ok. It seems from what I can read there that Intel RST is required when using Optane.

The best test of the drive would be to take it out and try it in a caddy as a USB drive.

If you try the hard drive in a caddy and it fails all you'll need to send back is the hard drive....

I should have suggested you check the BIOS SATA setting when I first asked you to remove the Optane module. That's my mistake.

It looks as though the Optane module has gone bad then. Call PCS, tell them what you've done and I'd expect them to simply swap the Optane module for a new one.

Very well done, nice troubleshooting. [emoji3]

Thank you, but it wasn't me.
A very huge thank for the PC Specialists. I am in contact with them, and they kept watching the forum and the attached pictures. They were asking me to try the bios "ACHI" settings before i would send back the PC. So thank u all! :) That was an amazing cooperation. :)

So, the journey still not at the end.
To setting up the optane acceleration, should I install a program called Intel Rapid Storage Technology - program or i can still fix it with the already installed Intel Optane Memory program?
And, how should i start:
Optane card in / or out? ------ > I can se the HDD in ACHI Mode, optane out. That's sure.
ACHI / or Intel RST Premium With Intel Optane System Acceleration mode?
(the motherboard user guide says, if it once installed i should not switch back to ACHI - probably with the optane card in -, but says nothing from re-installation. )

Thank's for the help in advance. :)

If someone would have the same situation. the solution was the following in my case:
Get Optane card off from the PC
System set to ACHI mode. (previous mode was: Intel RST Premium With Intel Optane System Acceleration)
Restart
HDD was visible in this mode. Data was correct. Programs were running.
Intel Rapid Storage Technology program install / reinstall (If Intel Optane Memory System Acceleration program is installed it should uninstalled first. )
Restart
Intel Rapid Storage Technology ( Intel RST) detected the HDD. No error messages / notifications were on.
System set back from "ACHI" to " Intel RST Premium With Intel Optane System Acceleration" mode
Proper port was set to RST Controlled (the location of the optane card, in my case port 9, see motherboard plan on previous posts plus attached motherboard user manual photos)
Optane Card put back to PC. (Optane card can be damaged in ACHI mode, Motherboard user manual warning)
In the Windows, the Intel RST program detected the HDD, and the optane card too. Optane card was an SSD card which was suitable for Acceleration.
Acceleration enabling by the program settings.
And the System is works again, all my data and programs available again! :)

Thanks for everyone!

No. I can guessing only. Something disturbed the communication between the optane card and the hdd.
I don't know. Can update fail cause something like this?
If power supply issue would be, i think something else should be faulty as well ... really don't know..
The build was fix, nothing was hanging or moving..
Ghost in the ... case? :D
