I think i can finally put closure on this, i can now carry on helping my mate with his lara croft comic. It looks like having badly installed graphics drivers is the worst thing you can have. Hard to believe that it was causing my pc to reboot when using daz but it was fine with games. Thanks to everyones help here its really saved my bacon
