Will this work with a 5070ti?

I plan on trying to buy a 5070ti on launch and was wondering if this system would be ok to put it into. I'm going to be using it mainly for gaming and my budget is £1200.

Do you understand monitor pairing to GPU? Just making sure you're not buying a £150 thing to pair with a 5070ti as the GPU would be completely bottlenecked and a waste of money

I'm not sure to be honest because this is my first time getting a gaming set up but it think i want to get a 2k monitor with at least 144hz refresh rate. The main reason i want a good graphics card is because i want to be able to run ark ascended on high graphic settings and I've seen that it requires a good gpu

So pairing a 5070ti with anything less than an ultrawide is simply throwing money away IMHO

The whole system has to balance, you need to be able to achieve the power throughput from input (PSU) through to output (monitor)

If any part of that chain is unbalanced, you get a bottleneck.

So you'd be looking over £500 for a suitable monitor for the 5070ti

If you're looking at 1440p, then just get a 5070, that would give you the required extra cash to be able to afford the below PC

Are you replacing a current Windows system? If so,you could order without WIndows, install it yourself and transfer the licence across which would save over £100 and get you close to your max budget
