If you could read all this before continuing.

We'll need your max budget?

What screen are you pairing it with, what resolution and refresh rate or make and model if you're unsure?

The monitor I will be using is

Samsung LC32R500FHUXEN 32" Curved Monitor - FullHD, 3-sided bezel-less, Freesync, HDMI, VGA, Dark Grey

My max budget is £2500

If you read the above links and let us know when you're ready.

That monitor will bottleneck any modern build, but we may be able to factor in a suitable one within budget.

I have read the links and I just want the PC for gaming and those games in particular. What monitor would you recommend? I have always had Intel but you guys you guys say AMD. I am pretty much new to this I have always bought off the shelf but just fancied something special

For your budget you could get a killer 1440p 144hz PC and a monitor to go with it

For gaming the Ryzen 7 5800X and 3070 is a great combo. The 3070 will comfortably run a 1440p 144hz monitor (you could step down to a 3060TI if you wanted to save some money). 16GB is ample for most games these days, I'd recommend upping to 32 only if you plan to stream or play MSFS. For storage I've given you a 500GB gen 4 m.2 for your Windows, a 1TB SSD for games and programs then 2TB HDD for general files. The RM850 will power the system comfortably and allow for upgrades down the line. The anti-virus has been knwon to cause issues and the Silver warranty is well worth the £5

For monitors, a Samsung G5 or a AOC CQ27G2U are 1440p 144hz curved monitors that are both great options for £300

That is fantastic and really helpful, thank you both. Why do you favour AMD over Intel? Is it more designed for gaming?

There was a thread mentioned in the thread we recommended reading above. There's a number of reasons and currently AMD beats Intel for pretty much every use case. Problems with Intel include: Security issues, no gen 4 M.2 support, poor thermals, poor price to performance compared to AMD... You get the point 😂 check this thread for more info

Thank you so much! You have been so helpful! Really appreciate it and great response time lol
No worries! If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Before you purchase I'd recommend sharing the final spec to make sure you've got everything right unless you simply order one of our builds straight from the link. Oh and when it arrives, feel free to post pics and a little review in the SHOW OFF YOUR NEW COMPUTER!

You meant @JUNI0R here I expect Spyder? Should I be worried that you had me on your mind? Is the imminent thread eviction I have been fearing about to occur?
Threadception...
