Which Pc is the best all round?

One question I wouldnt mind answering. I have windows 7 on a SSD drive which I will connect to the new PC i'm getting so I have an operating system and more memory. Is there anything specific I have to do when doing this on a new PC, do I have to re-install Windows 7 again or will it work if I connect it to the motherboard SATA and set it up to load in the BIOS. I have a retail copy of Windows 7 so can install again.

It's best to do a clean install of the operating system otherwise there will be problems,especially with incorrect drivers.

It's best to have the OS on the SSD only.
When connecting the SSD disconnect the HDD (as a copy of Windows will already be installed on the HDD),this will save any problems with dual boot and the system reserved partition,then do a fresh install of Windows on the SSD,shut down and disconnect computer then reconnect the HDD.
You can now format the HDD from the OS on the SSD.

The build i'm getting doesnt have Windows installed with it. I have Windows on my SSD at the moment, so what I'm saying is I'll simply reinstall windows on the HDD, but what do I do with the same version of Windows 7 on the SSD drive, does it matter if its there if the BIOS says load HDD first or is it best to remove windows 7 from the SSD and just have a new reinstalled version on the HDD so the drivers are up to date and linked to the right ones as the hardware will be different from PC i have at moment.

A trial version of Windows will be installed on the HDD when you receive the computer.
As it's best to install the operating system on the SSD,I posted what I think is the best method to do that in post 23.

what vantus is saying is:

-install windows in the SSD
-delete windows in HDD
-install all your drivers
-forget you had problems while drinking a cold one

Makes sense, espacially the drinking a cold one. I don't think i'll need to install all drivers as the company building my new PC will do that for me. Just to ask as i've never done it before, how do you delete windows from the HDD? I never knew all HDD's came with a trial version of windows.

If you get the PC from PCS, yes the drivers will be installed, however they will be installed to the HDD you are getting from them, when you reinstall windows to your own SSD (and remove the installation from the normal HDD) all the drivers will need to be re-installed, drivers have to go on the same drive as the OS.

a few things:
-drivers go always in the drive with the OS, this case the SSD, so yes, you have to reinstall them, if you have them prepared beforehand it will take you 30min-1hr
-to delete the windows from the HDD, save all the data you want to save in another drive(as long as it's not the HDD with the windows, put the data wherever you want), when you are done saving your data, format your HDD, and voila, no more windows, now can copy again all your data to your HDD

If the OP does as I suggested in post 23 as soon as he receives the computer,there won't be any data on the HDD to save.
Before doing so though,start up the computer to make sure there are no issues to start with.

Cheers for all the helps guys, gonna be order PC this week so will do all the nesarcary's when it arrives with the SSD and HDD. If I run into any problems i'll post up on here.

Hi all

So just an update, I ordered the PC, reinstalled SSD drive, put Windows 7 on it, updated all drivers etc and everything all fine. I did notice that I didn't get a CD for the Graphics card, got one for the motherboard and for the fan for the drivers, should I have got one incase I need to do anything with it. Also whats the best way to make sure im getting the most from the graphics card, setting wish things like that. I use my HDTV as a monitor, PC runs through the HDMI cable channel to the TV.
