Hi sorry for my ignorance.

I use a very budget LG 27GL650F-B 27" Full HD 1ms 144Hz IPS at the moment. But will look to upgrade sometime next year.

Budget wise I’m not too concerned but that doesn’t mean to say I want to make a £10k system. Let’s assume come Black Friday I have £1500 to spend on components.

it’s used for streaming, gaming but probably the only intense title is Warzone. Also full Adobe suite.

I intend to buy components individually and upgrade myself.

So the system from your first post was one you bought from PCS and now you want to know what bits are best to upgrade?

That wasn’t really clear from the original post 😆

I’d definitely get an M.2 drive on that motherboard and take advantage of the faster loads if you migrate your OS onto it.

@Nursemorph, I was in the same boat, was typing the ‘PCS owned forum’ spiel when you beat me to it. Now we know, eh? 😂

Hi all,

Thanks for the replies. I appologise for not stating this is a PCS system. I thought having used the post-to-forum feature and the fact the spec included some stock PCS parts it would be obvious, forgive me for being a nonce. :ROFLMAO:

Could I ask why the case is so bad? As you'll have already discovered I don't know too much about PC building at all. When purchasing my system I just assumed that the cases were a bit like trainers - i.e If theres a Nike tick on the side you pay more. Ultimately they're a functional item so as long as it does the job, what are the differences?

Thanks again in advance for your help.

It’s all about the airflow, the case is actually one of the most important parts of a system and so many people overlook it when doing a build. Not all cases are created equal when it comes to providing a good through flow of air, helping keep your components operating at optimum temperatures.

Okay, so having had my system less than 1 month. Would PCS get upset if I changed all my components into another case? Furthermore, What cases would you recommend for maintaining fans on the front similar to the case I use now? Are the NZXT cases any good?

As @Nursemorph says, the current build just isn't suited to your uses.

I would swallow a bitter pill, sell this one and get advice on something more suitable. Replacing the necessary components on the existing build will work out a lot more expensive than just swapping it out, and do you have the experience to do a full rebuild? It would also invalidate your warranty.

So for my uses what would you recommend? Thanks for the advice guys, I understand what you're suggesting and it makes sense. However, it seems to handle everything I throw at it with no issues currently using Cinema4D rendering absoloutely fine.
