The new AM5 boards/platform do seem to take 2-3 times longer than the AM4 boards to boot...and ocassionallyyou may see an even longer one as it retrains the memory for best compatibility.How long should it take to power PC up. As stated. This build nearly 1 year old no issues at all..
My last build AM4 with 3080. I got during covid. Since i got it. had issues ever since Parts changed/Replaced. RMA Twice. Complete new build and still had issues.. Not saying its PCS fault. But stuff happens, I knew i should have waited to everything went back to normal to get pc lol

I kept my RTX 3080 for backup. Kept both NVMe Drives from AM4 build and installed into this machine. Sold rest of parts on.Did you get a refund on the AM4 or did you have to sell it on?
Being on AM5 is no bad thing, you’ve got the option to slap in perhaps a 10800X3D for another boost in a few years or whatever they may call the next cpu range
