So what have you bought so far?

I've picked up CS Go and Dishonored from Steam. Crysis 3 digital deluxe and sims 3 pets from Origin.

Was tempted by the Witcher 2, I like the roleplaying theme, however I the magical stuff isnt for me.

Sleeping Dogs, Skyrim (basegame) Bioshock Infinite and Dishonored GOTY Edition, which was 92% off for the first 5-10 minutes after 6pm when it went up, and I was able to grab it. Went down to 66% right after so was pretty pleased about that! Not sure if it was a mistake or not. :D

Still hoping for Tomb Raider, GRID 2, Far Cry 3 + Blood Dragon and AOE2 HD Edition to come down a bit more but if not I'll pick them up on the last day. But still not sure about Far Cry unless it's really cheap purely because of how much I detest uPlay.

yeah I wouldn't mind grid 2 myself.

you can pick up TR for 11.99 on origin or simply cd keys for 13.99
far cry 3 is fantastic even though uplay id diabolical. Probably one of the best fps games I've played.

Contagion.

I've got everything else that's come up for sale so far that I want. I was tempted by BFBC2 for a quid but I begrudge giving EA any more of my money. I might pick up State of Decay on the last day but apart from that there's nothing really that's grabbed me so far (except for how much money I'd have saved if I'd waited til now to buy the games I haven't even played yet).

What have you bought in the latest Steam sale

Not much I really wanted but there were a few that were cheap so thought I would give them a go......so I bought:
Just Cause 2........looks ok for a basic FPS, probably worth the £2.99 I paid for it
Max Payne 3........Again, dosent look bad for the money.
Serious Sam 3......Hmmmm....Just kill everything in sight....lol

Bearing in mind that I havent played any of these titles for more that half an hour they all look like good fun.

What have you bought?

The thing I wonder is... steam selling a game like Bioshock Infinite for £7.99... Yeah steam are taking £7.99 of our money, but surely Steam had to pay more than £7.99 for the code from 2K? How do steam make money out of selling games at such low prices? Or do publishers literally sell their codes to retailers for a pittance?
