What are you driving at the moment?

It's an easy life this truck driving lark ๐Ÿ˜‚ All you have to do is drive, open the back doors and reverse onto a loading ramp ๐Ÿ˜‚
Just hope you haven't picked up from a Tesco DC, as the chances are there will be stuff all over the place

March this year, bring it on ๐Ÿ™‚

I guess you mean march next year, March this year has been and gone ๐Ÿ˜‰

We occasionally deliver to Tesco RDCs, but don't load from them ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

It was New Years Eve, I figured folk would know I meant this year. Bloomin' Pedant ๐Ÿ˜œ

Always a good sign when someone buys the same model of car twice, hope shes great for you mate
Had been looking for one for about 2 years, but I specifically wanted the exact spec I already had on my 320d, just with the bigger power plantโ€ฆand every one I saw was sold or reserved by the time I called the BMW dealership. I was lucky with this one as Iโ€™d called up about another (slightly lower spec) to be told it was soldโ€ฆbut another had literally just come in as a part-ex and I got first refusal (y)

So ended up with almost exactly the same spec (just missing the top nav option) but in a 335xD, and have doubled up on driven wheels, turbos and power - and it got almost identical fuel economy on the 250 return trip as the other did on the trip over - so a win-win situation ๐Ÿ˜

Stats are 309bhp with 465lbft (or 230kw and 603Nm for us intellectuals).

the #35Ds are phenomenal motors!

I really liked my e93 335d, changed that out a couple of year ago for a f92 435d and am enjoying that immensely also!

New car itch is hitting again though... :D

Agreed. I had the older E60 535D and the engine was really very special. I've never been a particularly big BMW fan but that engine totally swung me. I knew it would be a good drive and stay quite tight in the running gear for years, but I wasn't expecting just how good that engine would be.

It was the older one so I would only see around 40-45 MPG but it was remapped, putting out 350hp and 500Lbs of torque, it made the world move backwards when the loud pedal was pressed.

I was looking for another as soon as I was ready to sell but unfortunately pricing put me out of it.

Back in a BMW again as per previous pics, but this time it's leccy. The delivery is another level again but the range not so much :ROFLMAO:

March this year has arrived, and almost passed.

I am now a gentleman of leasure
Or officially an old b.., as I'm an OAP :cautious:

My truck had over 610,000 km when I handed back its keys btw :)

I finished work on Friday, my HGV licence ran out on Monday and, as is normal for vocational licences, my birthday was the next day.

Bought myself a Toyota CHR

Well I say myself it's for her and the wee one I just pay for it, lovely car all specced out but I know she'll only use the heated seats
Had one before I got my tuscon, great fun, very rarely turned the heated seats on

Over the past 10 years I have grown quite attached to my Qashqai Techna. It is comfortable to drive and with my low mileage should last for some time to come. From 2019, I had considered a change but government indecisions and having a zero car tax continued to make me undecided. Then my daughter pranged her car and started using mine. This led to me idly looking round a car showroom in march and I found that the demonstrator cars were being sold off in preparation for newer designs in the new financial year (05 plate). I am not one for the latest and greatest but tend to buy something about a year old and run it to extinction. It needs to be an SUV so I do not break my back getting in and out.
So, I finally settled on an MG ZS EV Trophy Connect. As a 74 plate it was less than 6 months old with a mileage of 750. The new price would normally have been ยฃ33,000 but as a demonstrator was reduced to ยฃ20,500. An added bonus was that registering in March gave me a year at zero tax.
I have to say that, so far, I have enjoyed going electric.
