weird stuttering while gaming

Hi guys,

I've noticed this when gaming and its very odd so i want to figure out what i could be. I can play smoothly for a while then il randomly get stutter or low fps for a few seconds. This happens in wow classic , which is also odd coz its not a demanding game, but also overwatch (sound will stutter a bit too). I havnt tested other games yet.
Here is my spec. I've updated drivers that i know of, so software installed is the corsair and asus software. I dont think im missing anything but do tell if i am.

Armory crate
Corsair Icue
Corsair link
Asus gpu tweak (which i dont use so i guess i can remove?)
AMD Ryzen master (default not changed anything)
Sonic suite (this seemed to install recently and think its part of mb software as it is onboard), sonic radar, sonic studio 3 (default not touched)
Razer synapse is also installed as i have razer peripherals (i wont rule out razer being a problem...they can be). (running nari ultimate headset, razer naga trinity and razer goliathus rgb).
Samsung magician

I have run a memory diagnostic just incase, no issues found. I am wondering if bios needs a look in and should i make a ticket with pcspecialist?
This is a brand new build. I had to format the drive and install windows fresh when i got it (they had windows on my larger drive). so the software above is what i sort of remember being on the machine when i got it.

Thanks

When you moved the OS onto the smaller drive did you run and all the updates including the optional ones and delete all partitions so you've only got one OS on the system

How are you updating your graphics drivers?

Can you post a screenshot of your windows udpdate page?

What monitor are you pairing it with? Can you post the make and model?

Its a BENQEX2780Q monitor
Graphics driver is not the gaming driver because i do cg modelling and streaming i prefer to use the studio driver. I use geforce experience to update. Now if i have to use the gaming driver i will certainly give it a try.
windows is up to date but when i click on optional updates it has this, i have no idea if i need them.

Yeah, install the optional drivers.

NVidia do recommend only installing Studio drivers if you're solely doing workstation work, if you're doing both professional and gaming they recommend installing the gaming driver:

Ok still happening , i noticed im also getting stutter randomly like a lag when playing music on spotify or youtube , its totally random, like i can go almost an entire day with no issues but sometimes it happens for a couple of seconds and then back to normal. Still happening on occasion in wow too.

Yeah, install the optional drivers.

I seem to remember that we've had other users reporting issues with the Studio drivers. I have no idea what performance (or other) impact there may be in using the Gaming drivers but that is something that I think is worth exploring.

When you changed to the gaming drivers did you uninstall the studio drivers using DDU as explained here

When you uninstall and reinstall the games driver do a custom install and deselect the nvidia audio driver
done! ok so il keep an eye on it but something else does bother me , i have asus gpu tweak installed, im pretty sure i dont need this?, i never used it, opened it up and it scared me lol but it does open up automatically on startup. I tried to uninstall it, it just wont , and there is no uninstaller in its folder so im not sure what to do with it. The sound stuff also annoyed me, I had that sonic studio installed, i think it updated with asus software but im not sure because i never used to have it. I uninstalled it through device manager and programs but windows is still adding one in itself. Windows also installs realtek but i thought that my motherboard was not realtek?

Attaching sound info anyway incase its useful , i have disabled the sonic, it keeps making it my default which i dont want. Infact most of the time i use my razer nari headset when gaming OR my benq monitor speakers for playing wow or watching/listening to youtube while i work.

so still happened while playing wow there, fps drop/stutter and audio stutter. Is there somethign i can download or check in windows that can show a spike in usage or something? maybe something is bottlenecking somehow.

Are you using and do you need that THX audio software? There are a fair few output devices there as well, I'd be tempted to disable the ones you don't use...
