Weird Bios 5 second endless reboot issue on startup

Hi all, Please help.
When I startup my machine it goes to the bios screen and says something about my Flash being invalid and it will retry in 5 seconds, but the message is gone almost as soon as it is shown and then the Laptop reboots to the same message endlessly.

If I press Escape quick enough I get the 'Quit without Saving' message.
If I click 'Yes' then it boot up ok from there and I'm able to use my laptop ok.

I'm running Windows 11 Home (10.0.22631)
My bios version is : America Megatrends Inc N.1.04 25/04/2020
SMBIOS 3.2

Any idea how I can fix this ?

Ok how did you upgrade from W10 to W11, and is the BIOS the one that the laptop came with or have you updated it

It upgraded automatically from W10 to W11.
As far as I know the bios is the one the laptop came with. I've used the laptop several times over the last few weeks without issue and then on Sunday evening I was playing a game on Steam and the laptop just suddenly shut down. Then tried to reboot and the problem showed up for the first time.

If you load into the BIOS, check your boot priority that the SSD is set as the primary boot device.

Export the logs and upload them to a cloud service with a link to them here...
  1. Enter the command eventvwr into the Run command box. The Event Viewer will open.
  2. Locate the Windows Logs folder in the left hand pane and expand it by clicking on the arrow (>) to the left of it.
  3. Right-click on the Application entry and select 'Save all events as...'. Choose a folder anywhere that suits you and a filename of 'Application' (an .evtx suffix will be added automatically).
  4. Right-click on the System entry and select 'Save all events as...'. Choose a folder anywhere that suits you and a filename of 'System' (an .evtx suffix will be added automatically).
  5. Zip the two files together if you like, or not as you choose, and upload them to a cloud service with a link to them here.

Thanks, got it. There is nothing in the System log to be concerned about. You didn't upload the Application log but I don't think it will be useful.

Are the messages you're seeing like this...
Code: 
Flash update failed
Flash image invalid or not found
System will reset in 5 seconds
That could simply be a failing CMOS battery, so the first thing I would suggest is get a new batter (typically it's a CR2032 button battery, but check first). If your BIOS setup has an option to select a default configuration then select that.

Whilst you have the laptop open to replace the battery, pop the RAM cards (if they're removable and re-insert them firmly. Also check that your SATA SSD is firmly secured and that the connector is fully home.

Yep , The flash error you showed in the screenshot is the one I'm getting.

I will try replacing the battery.
