Due to some current issues with my PCS Octane gaming laptop I’m considering replacing it with a Recoil 17 with a RTX 4080.
With the Nvidia RTX 40xx nearing the end of its life cycle and 50xx seemingly just around the corner (rumours seem to suggest January), would it be pertinent to wait for that?
I’d be expecting to get many years off of gaming out of the laptop (which I have from all my previous PCS machines) so just want to future proof as much as possible.
