Vyper 17 vs Optimus PRO XI

Hello,
I'm hesitating between the Vyper 17" and the Optimus PRO XI 17", which is why I wanted the check whether I have properly understood the differences.
Is the below a good summary of the differences?
My impression is that the Optimus PRO XI is a little bit better while the Vyper is about £170 pounds more expensive, but as I can get that one today (vs November for the Optimus Pro XI) I'm leaning towards that one.

Graphics CardI'd pick the RTX 2060, which is available todayI'd also pick the RTX2060, for which I need to wait until November in combination with the AMD 4800H
CPUIntel I7 10875HI'd pick the AMD 4800H, which is cheaper, faster in most respects (not for gaming and single core tasks) and uses less power. Here's a comparison of the 4800H with amongst others the 10875H.

I think that's a pretty good summary of the differences. One other thing is the build quality, which although I can't comment personally, I've been lead to believe is superior on the Vyper.

The Vyper is actually one of, if not the lightest 17 inch gaming laptops you can buy, owing to its magnesium alloy construction (compared to a mix of aluminium and plastic on the Optimus) So given the weight combined with the significantly larger battery, the Vyper is likely to be the better option if you're planning on carrying it around with you.

The way I'd look at it is, if I was wanting to get a top end gaming laptop with an RTX 2070 Super graphics card, in that case I'd definitely consider the more premium Vyper. However since you're aiming for the RTX 2060, which is more of a midrange card, personally I wouldn't want to pay the £170 premium for the Vyper, when it will essentially offer the same performance. I'd also rather pair the 2060 with the Ryzen 7 4800H over the Intel 10875H.

So I guess it comes down to whether or not you're willing/able to wait until November?

Yeah, I think that's pretty much it. I just don't know why the Vyper has a 230W PSU, since the specs are basically the same.

Good advice on the build quality, @briggm . You could also check the detailed specs to find the info about size and weight.
