Very off topic

Think it's real???

Na, too many people would need to be involved. If going by the title of the video, it would need almost all pilots to know about it, or at least those of large commercial jets. Then the people who load them onto the planes, then the people who maintain the system, then the people who manufacture the systems, then the likes of Boeing and Airbus who build the planes.

I thought it was supposed to be mixed into the fuel, so the minimum number of people knew? But anyway that would still need loads of people to know, so its a myth IMO.

Not to mention, youc an see the fog in that video, and along with the fact it clearly comes from the wing and not the engine, I'd say its pretty obviously an aerodynamic effect rather than a chemtrail.

My friend had told me recently that apparently the Nazis are responsible for putting the US on the moon. Is there any evidence of this? I have know idea where to look and suspect he is making it up.
Kind of an odd thing to ask but seeing as this forum has such fast replies I figured I should ask :)
Thanks.

Wherner von Braun was a German rocketeer. He was employed by the Nazi regime to design and build the V2 bomb rocket (which was the first ever long-range ballistic missile). When the war ended, the Americans, rather than prosecute him in relation to the slave labour involved in the V2 programme, recognised his potential value to them and he, along with other members of his rocket team, were moved to the USA where von Braun's greatest achievement was as the leader of the Saturn V rocket design project that took man to the moon.
Von Braun was a talented rocketeer before he was member of the Nazi party, and he may have become the 'greatest rocket scientist in history' even if the war or Nazis had ever happened. The Nazi regime did though give him the funding to make the V2 which was the most advanced rocket system to that date, and that did demonstrate his aptitude that he might not otherwise have been able to so clearly demonstrate.
Von Braun was a member of the Nazi party and did wear the SS uniform on more than one occasion. What enthusiasm he had for this is not clear.

So in short, an ex-Nazi was a key element in the USA moon landing programme, and perhaps it never would have happened without him, and certainly not as soon as it did. But it was more the American funding and will that was responsible for the manned moon landings.

Yeah but that's wikipedia. Mainstream. Don't really think anyone should use it as evidence unless they are sheep.

And what would you suggest as a viable alternative? I understand that alternative sites sometimes hold better information however in this instance Wikipedia holds the same information as every other reliable website that explains fallstreak holes. :)

I think we are straying dangerously close to this thread breaking down into insults, especially if accusations of who is, or is not a sheep continue.

While I see what your saying, I don't think just because people use Wikipedia they are automatically a 'sheep'. Flip it around, do you believe everything you read on 'alternative' sites?

I for one use Wikipedia quite a lot and find it pretty reliable and informative for the most part.
Probably best not to use for academic research, but Wikipedia state this themselves.

lol, I often read up on my history using the wikipedia app when I'm lying in bed on a night. :)

I think it's pretty spot on for the most part, you just cant use it for academic purposes.

Reviving the thread :)
What do you guys think of NATO? My friend said it was only created to take over other countries. Is that true?
If you don't mind, what is it exactly?

NATO was the West retaliating against the soviet union with the proposition of a large alliance involving many countries that were under the threat of communism. It was mainly to stop soviet expansion in Eastern Europe and make some countries able to trade again post war as was the Marshall plan and Truman doctrine etc.
In 1948 the Soviet Union created cominform and comecon so NATO (1949) could be considered a response to that also.
It could definitely be used for other purposes though but it depends on how you look at it. Some would consider the promise of protection through an alliance made by NATO to be irrefusable but It's down to your own perspective. Don't want to get too political :)
If your interested then look it up. Info is everywhere.
