Valeon touchpad

So I had locked the right hand side of the touch pad when my new laptop arrived yesterday (LOVE it) so it didn’t interfere with my typing but now it’s unlocked itself and I can’t get it to relock. Any idea what I might be doing wrong? Or any kind soul care to walk me through like an idiot, what I need to do to relock it?

There’s 2 white dots on the touchpad. One on left and one on right. Double tap the right hand white dot and it should light up and disable half the touchpad.
