USB Ports Suddenly Stopped Working

Hi all, strange one. I hope it's not what I think it is....

Motherboard: ASUS® TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI (LGA1700, DDR5, PCIe 5.0, Wi-Fi 6E)

Earlier today, I noticed the 4 blue USB ports at the back of the MB have stopped working. Also, in Device Manager, there is:

The only thing I did yesterday was to charge a hair trimmer via one of the USB port at the front/top of the PC. I can't imagine how it could be related...? Anyway, all attempts of uninstalling / re-installing drivers have failed.

Any ideas..?

If you right click and delete the failing usb hub in device manager and reboot, does it then come back with the same exclamation warning?

Hmm, that’s not a good sign.

If it’s all four ports that have gone it would suggest that hub itself has gone.

I would give PCS a call, they may know of something, worst comes to the worst you can RMA it
