Hi folks,
Quick question - I am speccing an entry level system for my son which was going to be based on a Ryzen 3 3100/8Gb RAM/Geforce 1650 Super. In a pleasant twist of fate, a mate has offered to sell me an RTX 2060 for a bargain which means I can stick my Titan Xp card into my son's PC. My question is - is this overkill? Will the CPU limit what the GFX card can output? Should I try and find some cash to boost the rest of the spec to avoid hobbling the graphics card? And were would you spend the cash - on RAM (moving up to 16Gb) or a better CPU (I was looking at going up to a Ryzen 3600. I have already bumped up the PSU to allow for the extra load from the graphics card.
Many thanks
