Thunderbolt query

Hi anyone

I have the Defiance laptop with a 2080 & 8th gen i7. And noticed the newest Defiance has thunderbolt 3. Just wondering of there is something I can do to get thunderbolt on my older laptop...almost certain it's a no but thought I should ask here in case some magical bios update exists

So if your laptop does not already have ThunderBolt 3 the answer is no. You are stuck with whatever it currently has.
