Would like some input on this build for a gaming Pc, I'm somewhat concerned with having water cooled pc as i have heard quite few horror stories regarding them. I also read quite alot of posts that the closed loop water coolers have a life expectancy of 5 years? So I would really like to just stick with fan cooled, but wondering would the "PCS FrostFlow 200 Series High Performance CPU Cooler" be sufficient for the processor that is selected?

Ahh, Also! Forgot to ask regarding the GPU there are 3 versions of the RTX 4080 the Zontac palit and the proart what's is the better version out of these 3 is there much difference?

Many thanks for your replies! :)

INTEL is DOA

There's no reason to choose an air cooler over an AIO; additionally, the solutions offered on PCS are all very low-end and unable to cool a high-end CPU.

Really need to know where people are reading this stuff? Are you sure you're getting the context of time frame? None of this has been relevant for over a decade.

The core GPU is the same part as supplied by Nvidia,

Performance wise there's very little in it. Most of the extra cash is due to brand awareness and what premium the brand thinks they can get away with for choosing a different colour shroud, or adding more RGB, or a different cooling profile, or overclocking it by 1%, etc.

So after some swapping and changing parts would this be considered a decent Gaming machine? Is there anything in this list that would need attention?

Many thanks!

As far as I'm concerned, it's far from a good gaming build.
You're overspending in some areas while going too low in others. It's not well designed at all.

Please add all necessary informations to receive appropriate advice.

By the end of 2024, your monitor will be unsuitable for a decent gaming experience.
