Thinking of Upgrading

I've had my current pc for a while now and it's starting to chug with more demanding games, so I thought I would upgrade. If you have any advice for improving these specs or if I should downgrade please share.

Hi there!
For what looks like a £3k budget you can get a lot more bang for your buck than this.

The first question is whether your old build can be upgraded or whether a whole new system is the way to go.

If you are looking to get a whole new build please could you confirm your budget, if you have any uses for the PC planned besides gaming, and the monitor you are pairing this with. Please can you confirm if you are retiring your old build as well, as you should be able to carry some items over e.g Windows and possibly RAM and storage drives too.

The pc I have no is prebuilt that I have upgraded over time but I would like to get a new system.

As for my budget, I'm aiming to stick around £3k or less and I mostly use my PC for gaming. I have two monitors one is a BenQ EL2870U 4K Monitor and the other is a ASUS ROG Swift PG279QE.

I still plan on having my current PC as a backup in case I ever need it.

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D Eight Core CPU (3.4GHz-4.5GHz/100MB CACHE/AM4) Still one of the best gaming CPUs, even with new gen releases.
Motherboard
