Very true but the main thing is the budget problem i understand and my personal recommendation is the vortex you have since its strong and has the capabilities of 2 hard disk but his budget is quite a limit otherwise his bet will just ly in a desktop rig..

I'll argue that with the fact we're purchasing custom laptops...why would anyone want something "Standard"

haha its not actually standard pez, they provide good quality compared to the "standard" usb wireless which has slow signals lol

No worries Jim. Have a serious think about the budget and costs. As Fear rightly pointed out, it could go happily into 2k +Zone. Look at what you can afford and stick to the budget
