that is a good point, but set a fan curve, still not happy, the ard should not be reaching 83c now , never had it with the original gpu . the hot air from this card is not blowing out the rear of the case at all, like the zotzc card did .

This is an entirely different card, it's overclocked so it will reach higher temps as standard.

The card you had before is called a blower design, they are inferior. This is a much higher quality card that uses the case ventilation. But as with all OC cards, they have very aggressive fan curves applied out of the box by design as OCers don't care about noise.

As already mentioned you can reduce clocks to stock to make it more like your old card.

Anything 85 and below is absolutely fine, it certainly should be reaching those temps. It's entirely expected.
