Won’t even get to the bios. I get the AOC logo upon turning the monitor on and then it goes to ‘no signal’ and standby mode.
Got a tv I can try and use as an alternative monitor to see if the monitor is the issue. Will get an install media prepped and try and reinstall Windows from there as well.
But leaving it for tonight, getting all hot and bothered from the heat and don’t think I’m in a productive mood at the moment.
Appreciate everyone’s help as always
Good plan man, leave it til you’re feeling fresh.

It could well just be a borked update.

The other thing to check is remove and reinsert the m2 drive, we’ve had a few where they’ve come slightly dislodged in transit.

Edit: don’t think the issue is with the monitor as it is pairing fine with my old laptop.
Good idea leaving it, good nights rest an something will click tomorrow

Sorted out the RAM, essentially I didn’t push it in hard enough because I was scared of damaging it 😂
Very different issue, had some beeping from the motherboard to indicate it didn’t detect the memory. RAM was recognised by BIOS during first boot up so assuming it isn’t the current cause of the issue. Will definitely consider it when troubleshooting though.

Sad news I'm afraid. I rang tech support at 9 this morning, managed to get straight in which was handy. I thought that if I was going to start taking apart my build it would be handy to be guided by someone who knew what they were doing. Really clear, concise and patient explanation, so kudos to the team on that front.
First test was to remove and replace the RAM, tried multiple configurations, going to single stick, changing the channel, switching to the original RAM that came with the build. Next step was to remove the GPU, with very competent guidance I managed to do so, and then remove the motherboard battery underneath. Waited for it to discharge then reinserted it along with the GPU. At this stage we had a little lights show on the motherboard, with the orange, then red, then white light flashing in sequence. This was followed with the white and green lights staying on, and then a long beep followed by 3 short beeps. We tested the RAM configs again with the same results. We contemplated moving the GPU to the lower slot, but due to the tight cable management of the PCIE cables this wasn't possible.
As the lovely gent from tech support couldn't diagnose the problem he suggested for me to return the system to let PCS take a look, so as I write this up my RMA request is being processed.
Obviously a shame, but these things happen, that's what warranty is for, and I'll just have to wait a little longer.

Real shame! Fingers crossed they expedite your RMA

That's a sore one. As you say, it'll be fixed... but that doesn't help the disappointment. Better to happen now than when you've loaded it with all your stuff though.

Can we start a new club for 3070 builds that arrived yesterday which are faulty?

I feel your pain. Details in my other thread, I'm still waiting on PCS for a solution on mine.

Sorry to hear this, here's hoping for a quick turnaround for you.

Hmmm, this doesn't fill me full of confidence, I'm sure they turn out thousands of systems a month but 2 in 2 days is not a good statistic

Likewise @RichLan564, and fingers crossed for you @MrWilson and @Turnips. I've a very similar system to @MrWilson which went into build and testing today (21 days). Sounds like you're receiving good customer care and they're being as helpful as they can be, which gives me reassurance if anything similar were to happen.
Absolutely. I can confirm, just as @MrWilson has experienced, that PCS customer care is absolutely second to none.

Things happen! It's how companies react to the problem that makes or breaks it for me.

RMA is still waiting to be processed but I'm trying to stay patient. Earliest pickup slot I could pick was Monday 26th anyway so as long as it's all in order by then I'll be a happy camper. Definitely hoping for a fast turnaround but appreciate that these things can take time. Genuinely amazed by the patience in the 3080 / strix now as having experienced the waiting game firsthand I can't fathom having that wait multiplied by 3 or 4 times. Clearly I need to learn that zen mode from you all, and when I do I will appreciate that Zen 3 power all the more for it.
