stuck in bios

hey guys. i need some help with my pc. my specs are attached. last night I was trying to play some gta. i was trying to connect my wired controller when all of a sudden it crashed my pc giving it a blue screen saying that it needs to restart. as it was restarting, it got seemingly frozen on the pc specialist logo where it sat there for 15mins. at this point I assumed it was done loading but was frozen so I turned it off. when I turned it back on though, it took me to bios with the only boot options were pxe boot options with no option to select my ssd. the ssd is still recognised by the pc in the bios menu but cannot be used to boot from. i can try provide any further information if necessary. i dont know what to do.

Boot the Windows install media, select Repair My Computer and look for Startup Repair in there. See whether that can fix it.

when im in the bios, i cant find a 'windows install media' anywhere. i even used the search function in the bios and no results.

Insert the Windows Installation media - either on DVD or USB stick - and in the BIOS Boot Order list select the drive containing the Windows installation media.

ok. currently installing windows onto a USB. will let you know if I have any further issues once the installation is done. :)

quick question - will it boot from USB if PXE boot is currently the only boot option set in the BIOS?

Could you power down the PC, insert your USB stick, and then power up and then in the BIOS, see if there is an option to select USB as a boot option?

Perhaps the option to boot from USB is only available for selection if the system detects that a USB device is present.

'startup repair couldn't repair your PC'. imma see if I have any system restore points real quick.

Actually, just taking a step back. When you were in the BIOS, you saw that USB was a boot option when the USB was inserted in the PC? Was the SSD shown as a boot option at that point?

If the SSD is not being presented as a boot option in the BIOS, then going through this repair process probably won't make a different at this point.

the internal SSD was recognised but couldn't be booted from. I'm pretty sure that GTA must've fully wiped my drive. I have no idea why but I'm pretty sure I created a system restore point but it couldn't be found.

ok - we can see where the current repair process takes us in that case, if the BIOS is recognising your SSD.

On that Advanced Options page, select Start-up Repair

It's possible the SSD has failed. Navigate to the command prompt (in the installation system you're running) and see whether you can find your SSD. You'll need to try several drive letters, it may not appear as C: in that system. Try consecutive drive letters from C: upwards and do a DIR on each drive - if you see a Windows folder then that's your system drive.

did a full reset. found out that gta had some how managed to wipe my entire drive. been trying to set everything back up but im just so done for now. took me ages last time to get my pc to where i wanted it to be.
