When you noted the 40-44c, was that the cooling on quiet?

I don't have any experience with the 5000 series chips so that may be perfectly normal, but given that a cold boot idle sees me around 25-30C on a 9900k, I would have thought it would have been lower.

Does your case etc have good airflow around it? Plenty of space?

Yes. Both fans on quiet and pump on balanced.

Possibly not much help but, for comparison, my 3600 with a stock fan on Silent profile (all fans absolutely bare minimum) and my temps when web browsing are similar to the above

So my temps sound about right then.

Thank you everyone for help. Looks like issue been solved. Will only find out tonight when i do about 3 hour stream

Thank you. Everything spot on. Just done a 4hour stream, 60fps never dropped. CPU Temps never went above 75c. Ran very smooth. So wiping everything of comp and starting fresh did help sort issue out. No idea what i would have done without your help
