Strange noise when GPU increases load

Hello,

I am new to PC builds and would love to know if the noise I am experiencing is normal or something I should be concerned about. I just recently got my new build and noticed a whirling noise when my GPU increases load (e.g. when installing programs or booting up games):

At first I thought it was the fans, but when my PC was idle, I kicked up all the fans to max and the noise didn't occur, so I am unsure on what is causing it.

My specs are:

Can't tell from that if the sound is coming from the GPU, case or AIO cooler fans...and I can't hear any change/ramping in speed/noise.

But it might just need to tweaking of the fan profiles in iCUE or Gigabyte's motherboard software (via SmartFan6) to optimise them for performance vs noise levels.

Sorry for the roughness, but rather than wasting time on a defective system, request a refund before it's too late, like we advised in your previous thread.

This, it's not just the CPU that is a poor choice, the rest of the build is not well optimised either. that cooler is not going to support that processor, it's underpowered, there are several other issues as well, cancel the order before you're past the 14 days period.

Don't know how else to put it, it's not a good PC, it's never going to work well.

I will be cancelling it tomorrow. Thank you.

Would you be able to advise on what coolers would best work with the 4080 Super GPU? Also, would the AMD 7800x3D be a good CPU to pair with? Bearing in mind my budget is £2.5k and need to include everything else...

I would also love to know why this was underpowered, considering I did some research and the 850W psu seemed suitable, and PCS didn't flag a warning saying this was too low, which doesn't help.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but there always seems to be different answers everywhere on the internet lol, but I'm grateful for your help :)

The 850W is only suitable if you don't account for transient spikes, the PCS configurator doesn't account for it either, plus you're not configuring the system to your needs now, but those of 8 years down the line, and we've seen GPU power requirements double in the last 3 generations.

The cooler you had selected was underpowered for the processor

The processor is defective and you'll face constant BSODS within about 6 months as already advised. It's also under performing compared to an AMD alternative.

The case isn't suitable for the components

Bad singular drive which is huge no no since SSDs started hitting the market

Low performance DDR4 RAM on a DDR5 platform

Lower quality thermal paste than that included on cooler which incorporates human error into the application

If you open up a spec in the check this spec thread after you've read this, then we can offer some advice on something suitable
