Spec Check - Gaming PC, circa 2k budget

Hi all,

I am looking for some advice on the below PC build please. I've not done this before but have followed the guides and had a go!. Currently using an old Razer laptop which is on its last legs.

Monitor - I have an LG ULTRAGEAR (1920x1080@144Hz) already which I will end up using as a secondary monitor. I have included a new 1440p monitor in the below build which I will use as my primary (if you think its suitable!)
Uses - Gaming and general use. Mainly Escape from Tarkov, Elden Ring, League of Legends, God of War, etc.
Budget - 2,000 - 2,500 ideally. If we can bring down the below spec at all that would be great.

Hi there,
Sorry we missed this. Made a few changes below. I wouldn't go for that monitor choice as it's an old TN panel, I would recommend something like the Gigabyte G27Q, which is a solid IPS display.

Intel® Core™ i5 14-Core Processor i5-13600K (3.5GHz) 24MB Cache Over £100 cheaper than the 13700K with negligible gaming performance loss
Motherboard
ASUS® TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS WIFI D4 (LGA1700, USB 3.2, PCIe 5.0) - ARGB Ready The Strix board is great, but this will save you a chunk of change without losing any features.
Memory (RAM)
16GB Corsair VENGEANCE RGB PRO DDR4 3200MHz (2 x 8GB) 16GB will cover the games listed above. Only a few heavily modded titles, and MSFS require going up to 32GB. You do have room in the budget though, and it's also a very easy upgrade down the line.
Graphics Card
8GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3070 - HDMI, DP, LHR Great 1440p card. The 3070ti doesn't offer a whole lot over the 3070, if the price difference is more than £50 it isn't worth the extra in my book.
