An incredible shot of Starship 28 lighting it's engines while still on top of the Booster for stage separation..

https://x.com/SpaceX/status/1768268071469539708?s=20,

Superheavy Booster 10 made it back to have a hard landing in the ocean of the Gulf of Mexico, last data shows it hit the ocean at a speed of 1112 km/h,

Starship 28 is still in space running though some tests before it due to come back.

EDIT:

Starship 28 has been lost during re-entry, likely it broke up, making its way back,

Last views of Starship 28 as it started its re-entry before signal blackout...

Starship news...
Starship Test Flight 4 should be ready to fly within the next month or two, Starship 29 and Superheavy Booster 11,

The big news is coming for test flight number 5, Starship 30 and Superheavy Booster 12,
This one is going to be the one to watch, SpaceX will have their very first attempt to mid air catch Superheavy Booster 12 with the launch tower arms,
This is going to be a game of hit, miss or catch🫣, either they'll hit the tower, miss the tower, or catch it, hopefully they catch it🤞.

An amazing Starship test flight🥳,

Starship Superheavy Booster 11 lost one engine on liftoff,

Superheavy Booster 11 made a successful soft landing in the Gulf of Mexico ocean...
brief video of this..

SpaceX Twitter Video, Superheavy Booster 11 soft ocean landing

Starship 28 also only just made it back to have a soft landing in the Indian ocean,
Starship 28 took a hell of a beating coming through earth atmosphere on re-entry.

Twitter Video, Starship 28 taking a re-entry beating

Last view/video of Starship 28 front flap damage just before the soft landing in the Indian ocean,
Unbelievable this front flap was still working despite the damage it had...

Twitter Video, Starship 28 front flap damage,

I can't wait for SpaceX recap video for this test flight.

Starship Test Flight 5 is looking to launch around the end of August / beginning of September,

Two big tests, for test flight number 5,

1. Starship 30 has had its heat shield tiles replaced and upgraded and now has a double stack of heat shield tiles across its hull to better survive re-entry and reduce the damage that Starship 29 took during test flight 4 re-entry,

2. Again this is the big one, Super Heavy Booster 12 will be heading back to the launch site to be caught in mid-air by the launch tower arms...

An animation that someone has done to show what should happen with this booster catch attempt/will look like...
SpaceX are giving this very first mid-air booster catch attempt a 50% chance for success.

Less than 23 hours to go for Starship Test Flight 5 launch attempt..
starship test flight 5..jpg

SpaceX now has three Starship launch towers, one in florida and two in texas (see above picture), but only one launch tower is operational at the moment,

As for test flight 5, SpaceX are still waiting on a launch licence which should be issued some time today, but SpaceX is already counting down to launch, The launch window opens tomorrow morning at 7am CDT for us in the UK, that at 1pm,

A short overview video of the Superheavy Booster catch attempt explained by Everyday Astronaut...

A short video on SpaceX's twitter/X page of the Superheavy Booster catch with the launch tower arms...

Edit.
Another twitter/X short video of the booster catch, That's been overlaid with a Hans Zimmer, Interstellar score..

I can't wait for the recap video to get released from this amazing test flight, history in the making with this booster catch and when SpaceX is ready, they will do the same with a starship catch at some point.

SpaceX, Starship Test Flight 6

Starship test flight 5 liftoff.jpg

Test Flight 6 will do exactly the same as how Test Flight 5 went,
Starship 31 and Super Heavy Booster 13, The booster will attempt another mid-air tower catch and starship will land in the Indian Ocean.
