So I don't do this very often and I've built a pc from what I know it my be good for gaming ( Warzone, Assassins Creed, Tomb Raider etc) this are the specs; if any of you can tell me if it's good or not or if I have to add or change anything it would be much appreciate it. Thank you !

I don't have a specific budget £3500 maybe, idk. I've included the configurable link fell free to have a look, the monitor is there as well ( I think the refresh rate is 144). I went with an intel CPU because I thought those are the best or good I have no intel about others ( I'm not very good at this)

Is there a particular reason you want a 3080 GPU? Given you have gone for a 1080p monitor? A 3080 would be massively over even for a 240Hz monitor much less a 144Hz one.

Yes, if you don't get a 4K 144Hz monitor or a superwide 49 inch 1440p monitor, you're essentially wasting that card's power as it'll effectively be throttled by the screen. It won't perform any better than the upcoming 3060 (which will be significantly cheaper).

The GPU fits the monitor, if they’re not compatible, you could have the best gpu in the world and it would perform no better than an entry level gpu.

So what you are saying is that you have no budget for the system but have a maximum for how much you are willing to spend on a monitor?

But pcspecialist they don't have Odyssey 9 on the website and I want to buy everything I need from them because they offer the possibility to pay monthly ( that's the only way I can afford to buy and pay at the moment) and I don't wanna pay more than £100 / month for 48 months I don't mind. The specs you told me are really nice and good and I like it but I don't know what to do with the monitor because G9 alone is £1,290 and I can't afford to pay that much in one go. If you have any ideas in happy to listen. So sorry if I confused anyone.

PCS don't stock any suitable monitors for the 3080, the max they go up to is 1440 ultawide 120Hz which would fit the 3060ti and is just under £1000
