Solved. Corsair DDR4 2666MHz DRAM Frequency reported as 665.1 MHz in CPU-Z?

Hey PCS Forum gurus and Happy Saturday. As per the thread title, my new Ionico Gaming Laptop reports DRAM as below and different to what it should?

I have taken some screen shots of what CPU-Z reports and am hoping someone can reassure me this is normal or if I need to tweak anything to ensure the RAM is operating at optimal levels.

Update. It would appear that CPU-Z is flawed in some way (read on another forum with similar issue). I downloaded HWinfo64 which showed 1333MHz which is correct (always .5 for DDR).

I hope this helps others in not freaking out when they think their RAM is faulty.

Good news @WolfSkyTrain ! Glad you found the solution - and thanks for taking the time to post it here for others. (y)

I have also read that CPU-Z can confuse itself sometimes. It seemed weird that it was reading exactly half the base speed of your RAM, and bascially one quarter of the Double Data Rate, so not too surprised that it was a sensor data error of sorts.

Reading your signature we have exactly the same Recoil 15.6 (SSD apart), and the same CPU-Z and HWinfo readings about RAM.
Since the Pc Specialist support is practically non-existent (they haven't answered me since last week) it would be really useful if we could compare some data.

That said, would you be very kind if you could provide a link to your 3DMark Demo score in TimeSpy, and tell us max temperatures and RAM speed measured by 3DMark. Moreover, if you can run the 3DMark benchmarks with HWnfo sensor on, and check temperatures at the end of the test, in particular the following values:
