I've never had a problem with bullguard and I bought a 2 year extention on it and not wasting my money from not using it.

It's interesting that I started the download for 2004, but it stopped at 60 or 70%+ of installing it. Seems that I have to download it again.

I can understand the sentiment but when you do the reinstall, I would suggest at least for a time not reinstalling Bullguard. Give it time to ensure there are no other underlying issues.

Actually I should have said I've never had a problem with Bullguard since paying for it when I got this computer in 2013.

Reset computer and loading is much better.

Just installing 1909. Haven't seen 2004.

Only high startup programs are OneDrive and Adobe Updater Startup Utility. I've disable OneDrive because I won't use it.

A reset isn't what you need to do, you need to do a clean install.

Just to clarify, a Windows Reset uses the existing component store to rebuild your Windows system. It follows therefore, that any errors in the component store get reinstalled when you do a Windows Reset. A clean install from bootable media uses a fresh set of install libraries to create a new component store and Windows system. When you're having problems that might be Windows related a clean install is always preferred over a Windows Reset.
