so im configuring a pc and I've seen a bunch of rumours about these new cpu's and gpu's so I'm wondering if I should wait a while for them to come out

now is a bad time to buy, if you can hold on, I would absolutely. Both cpus and gpus are set to be a significant upgrade over current offerings.
They are releasing the new GPU's which are set to be 40% more powerful, but remain in the same price bracket, so to buy a top tier card now would cost £1200, to get the same performance in september you would need £800I'm in need of a new PC soon. What's likely to be the difference in September? that new shiny things are available, or the things I can buy now will be cheaper? Yes, the point is, for the same money, you'll get 40% more performance, so it's a ginormous leap and worth waiting for.Thanks - I'm way down from wanting that level of GPU performance, will the reductions trickle down do you think?
