I have a optimus xI, when gaming the cpu is at 100% and gpu much lower around 50% the cpu seems to be getting really hot even after undervolting. Wondering if who ever built it has done a poor job at pasting? All seemed well a few days ago after undervolting I had the cpu and gpu at ok temps while gaming and no issues. Now my laptop is crashing and cpu is up near 90°c. Only thin I have done is update the gpu drivers to the latest game drivers and updated Windows to the latest update. Any ideas what could be causing the issues? Thanks

100% use isn't unusual depending what you are doing? The temps will reflect how hard the CPU is being worked but 90 is getting close to the max.

What are you doing when you are seeing 100% CPU and 50% GPU?

Do you mean you've upgraded from 1909 to 2004? If so, did you allow Windows Update to do the upgrade or did you clean install it?

If it was just a regular Windows update and all seemed well before you installed it, then run System Restore and back it out to see whether that helps.

Ah ok. Upgrades to new versions often cause issues. :)

Try backing out the latest updates with System Restore and see whether that was the problem. What was the KB number(s) of the latest update(s).

I've no issue either, but I've read, on a French tech blog, it is again a problematic issue, some users get BSOD with it, it randomly impacts users
