Hi, any changes regarding the Strix card lately? I am currently at 79 days in pre production.
I have tried to change parts when speaking over the phone regarding stock issues but not having any luck. I am likely to cancel depending on what Nvidia have to say on the 12th.
I do not remember but I am pretty sure I ordered a few hours into release.

How can yours be in stock but I have been advised today my order at 63 days is still pending stock deliveries 🤔 @Ghosthud i thought the queues where on a first come first served bases?

That's the point though isn't it, this is anything but "Normal".
It's the most mental situation certainly in my lifetime.
The same here, I am already 31 years old (it's passing too quickly...) and I never had any problem to buy something. Of course, sometimes demand is higher than supply and prices are going up, but the first time I can see where supply is almost dead.
No ordered 3080 at the beginning. Swapped to 3090 a few days ago

Aren't you in a seperate CPU queue as well?
(Couple of handy tips whilst you’re still in pre-production... don’t bother with the extra thermal paste as the cooler already comes with high quality paste. It’ll be a messier and less evenly applied job if they have to remove and then add the Arctic. You’d also benefit from upping the motherboard to the Crosshair VIII, I think it’s out of stock at the moment but due back on the 15th)

Who knows
The main thing is the VRMs, it’ll help keep a spicy chip like the 3950X under control. I think it’s also got better heat sinks and an extra couple of features, additional USB port and fan header etc.
ROG Strix is still a great motherboard but if you’re pushing the CPU the Crosshair is a worthwhile investment 👍
