I'm glad you all are getting your PCs. I'm predicting I'll get mine next month considering I'm on 77 working days. However, PCS just emailed me saying to change to the 3080 Ti

Me too, but I dont really fancy paying just short of £600 for very little performance improvement albeit with a suggested improved wait time, that would take my cost to over £3000 and I was popping veins in my forehead when I paid £2411 !!I'm glad you all are getting your PCs. I'm not entirely sure but building and testing both could take 2 days max. Testing can take longer if they find an issue with your build

wow. I came back to this thread after I got my standard 3080 December last year. waited 47 days. Cant believe people have waited double that and still not received one. I thought the backlog would of been handled by now.

Has PC Specialist offered any other 3080 cards apart from the MSI and Strix , along side this what are the chances there of others being an option. Just thinking since paying a few extra pounds to get a better quality model compared to a Zotac card could be worth it. Off course its a 3080 regardless, and also what specific models of cards have people received.

I don't know of anyone that's had a Palit? Could well be wrong, maybe there were some nearer the release date?

No one knows if PCS may offer other models except them, but I doubt it's something they'd know about until they were offered it from their suppliers. I don't think it's anything they plan.
