Also I would like to say how grateful I am to the people of PC Specialist and the long hours that they have put in. I had no hope to have anything this side of Christmas and the fact that they have put in the hours to have it ready has earned all my respect. I say that, no matter if I get to receive the PC tomorrow, which is still waiting to be received by DPD as per their website. I am sure it is just a scanning issue but hey we all know how this feels.

The efforts of all the staff there are commendable. I have to say when all this 3k series panic stroke I did look at competitor's sites but I found them to be too glitzy and tacky. I decided to stick with PCS (I have had 2x setups in the past from them) and one of the reasons is that the ordering setup is clean. The other reason is this forum which is a nice place to be heckled for any setup with an intel cpu :)

That would normally comewith monitor, not the graphics card, so if you don't have one you'll need to get one

It is here! unbealeavable really. Less than a week ago I was in the mindset that if it comes before valentine's I would be a happy chappie and not is here and I am clicking away on it.

Got it all set up and I trying to calm down the LEDs before I get a seizure. It is lovely and it came nicely packed as all their work is.

So to answer some of the questions above:

I got a Zotac card

and no DP cables in da house. Ordered one and it will come when it will come. Now that the machine is here, well it is good to have something else to look forward to...

interstingly, I was hoping / expecting to have the CPU fan that comes with the ryzen (I got an aftermarket one) but it wasn't in the box. No biggie. I emailed customer services a few days ago, before the built had even started, to enquire on this but at the speed that they were putting these that didn't carry through.

GPU’s don’t come with cables, it’s the monitor that does.

Hi, is there any moderator or a spokesman that could tell me if the 3070 GPU arrives faster than the 3080, i was going to order the 3080 but saw the waiting times, does anyone know if the PC would arrive faster with the said graphics card compared to the 3080

You need to read through the thread, that's what it's there for.

No one can give you an estimate on when your build will be done. Please read through the stickies as already suggested.
