Hi, I'm looking for some speakers for a new PC.
- Primary use is for gaming, but I will use the PC for everything else too: audio-wise this mostly means YouTube and some casual music making (absolutely nothing serious).
- They'll be stationed on the desk either side of the monitor.
- The room itself is very small, roughly 2mx2m.
- Budget is about £100.

Currently looking at these as a starting point. Quick google search reveals very good reviews (aside from one in particular that is not so good...).

Many thanks for any recommendations!

They'll be ok, they don't go down very far basewise which is a limitation of the driver size

BUT, Amazon do currently have a warehouse set of the upgraded 4.5" woofer ones, for just a tad over budget at £108. If you haven't used it before, Amazon warehouse is literally new items that have damaged packaging, they're always listed as used simply because they can't use them as new because the boxes are damaged or ripped, but I often buy Warehouse stock and I've never had a mark on the actual product. Plus if you weren't happy with it, you can just return it without any questions, these are far more capable, and it's worth pushing to it if you can.

I have the Eris 4.5 speakers and they're really great. I don't use them for gaming much but mostly for classical music and video editing, and they're really, really good.
