Hi all,
I've had the odd random crash for a while which normally sorted itself after reseating the RAM and replugging the various cables into the power supply ... but after the latest one I can't get my machine to boot at all. There is power - I see the lights on the motherboard - and when I press the on button the fans start/light up but 1/2 a second later it all turns off. (I have to toggle the main power rocker switch before the on button works again .... but only to crash again).
As well as reseating the RAM and replugging in the various cables into the power supply I've unplugged/replugged in everything I can see but still to now avail. I also tried powering up with everything that can be unplugged unplugged (fans, hdd etc) but it still just switches itself off again after 1/2 second.
Not sure what else to try so asking the collective wisdom here before thinking of doing a return/repair .... which I desparately want to avoid if at all possible.
