random blue screen when i start it up

How do I completely wipe the whole computer

I have done something wrong to my computer and now I just wanna wipe the whole thing so it becomes what it was like when I first turned it on?

I just did that and all my files are still on the computer in a file called windows.old?

you can reinstall your operating system using your windows disk

- instructions are in the welcome booklet,
- make sure you backup all important data!!!!

You should be able to choose to delete the partition / format the partition when you are going through the install process. Other than that, you can just delete the windows.old file. If you are still having problems after the clean install then deleting that file probably isn't going to fix anything

You can if you want but I don't think it will be necessary, just delete the file.

If you have just re-installed windows then yes you should do

Once you have saved all the data you want from windows old folder,
You can safely delete it from "Disk Cleanup".
Type Disk Cleanup in the search box then tick "previous windows installations" if you dont see this listed, do you have an option In the Disk Cleanup dialog box, "Clean up system files"
If so select that, If you're prompted to choose a drive, click the drive you installed Windows on, and then click OK.
Select the Previous Windows installations check box, , and then click OK.

I would go to the manufacturer's websites to install the most up to date drivers (or check you have the up to date drivers installed). Starting with your Motherboard drivers. Always worth a check

Basically yes,install drivers from motherboard disk first then the graphics card driver disk,then check all is well in device manager,after that,check windows is activated,install antivirus program,then run windows update.
