Can't you find another power cable. I suppose PCS imagined every one had a few spares of these. Have a look and see if your electric kettle has the same fitting. Often they have!

Unfortunately I do not have a spare knocking around, however my old man might have one at his house so I might get him to pop round with one in the mean time so I can test it out :)

It wont void my warranty if I use a power cable and something happens will it? I know it is doubtful but just making sure.

That's pretty good, very quick.

Yup Agreed they have been fantastic this time from start to finish and Jack has been great, power cable can be easily overlooked so I am not too fussed by it to be honest just itching to get it fired up and see how it's running ;)

It won't void your warranty to use a different power cable, they are very very generic. As long as the fitting on the PC side is the same you're okay :)

Ok here is my final update on my PC now it is back...


Not only is it running at 4.6ghz but it is extremely cool and quieter it seems, I played battlefield 3 for around 3-4 hours last night and core temps did not even hit 78 degrees.

I must say I am extremely impressed with PCS, whilst initially when I first sent my PC in for RMA it could have been handled a lot better in terms of keeping me updated and also I was obviously disappointed to receive my PC back in the same condition.

I must say this time it has been nothing but extremely professional and they have provided me with a fantastic service, I was updated every step of the way, the turn around on the RMA was quick and efficient and my PC is now back and running better than it was the first time it was sent out to me.

I want to give a huge thank you to Jack and everyone else who worked on my PC and really let you know how much I appreciate fixing this matter for me and resolving it, it shows you care about giving your customers a good service and you work quick to address any issues they have.

Did PCS specify where the fault was??? I know they replaced the CPU.....

I had problems with my PC which I recently bought, namely two replacements of the Graphics card...then had to send PC back to PCS.. thankfully PCS did an excellent job and now everything is working

Not sure what the fault itself was but the CPU got replaced so it may have been that possibly? Whatever it was it got fixed that's for sure lol.

Also on an added note, I got my power cable today in the post, first class via royal mail how is that for service? Fantastic once again.

Same here mate, infact I seem to be getting worse with age, wonder what I am going to be like next year when I hit the big 3-0 lol, do you have steam or anything?
