PSU Issue PC Keeps shutting down and restarting while playing games

Hello All,

Ive been playing AC Valhalla and WOW on an i710700k overclocked. RTX 3090FE, PSU Corsair 750w RMx Series Gold Fully Mod with a Corsair 115i RGB Platinum cooler. Ive had the PC from PC Specialist for 3 months now with no Issues, however In the last week the PC keeps crashing, shutting down randomly and then restarts Itself and only 20 minutes later to shutdown and restart again.

Also the PC never fully shuts down, the cooler fans continue to run along with the GPU. Ive spoken to PC Specialist over the phone (Not very helpful) Followed a few basic steps but nothing has worked. Is the 750w PSU not enough for the 3090FE? I use a keyboard, mouse, RGB matt and HDMI Cable Into a 4k TV.

Any Idea?

I think 750w is recommended on here as the minimum for a 3090, despite the official line being 650w. If your chip is overclocked I suspect it may be pushing the power requirements a little too much...

Could you post your full specs from the orders page so the troubleshooting geniuses can have a look?

The first thing to do when you're having problems with an overclocked system is to remove the overclock and revert to stock frequencies.

Check thermals and remove the overclock to test.
