There's been a big refresh of the various chassis PCS offer today with the release of the new CPUs (which seem rather pricey) and some mid-range GPUs.

@Oussebon I just saw it thanks to your post!
Will be considering my options here and pre-ordering one.
The 9750H might not be a 8c/8t cpu although previous leaks hinted. Seems like a 6c/12thread cpu instead.

@xKDCx well, proteus VI has the best price compared to the 9th gen counterpart the Vortex IX (which im currently configuring to purchase). With the same configuration that I wanted with the proteus, it came up to about ~£200 more with the only difference being the cpu and the chassis (and the weight).

Hey, I'm the guy in the second review you tagged. I've had my Proteus for around 3 months or so now.
The thermal issue is the cpu, most laptops with the 8750H have problems when It comes to cooling it. A mild undervolt has solved the issue now though, temps peaking around 76-80 under load which is fine.

The laptop itself is a lovely machine, not too heavy so still offers portability but with the aluminium case it has a good solid feel to it.
