Processor cooler concern

Hi, I built and ordered my first pc last night I was happy with everything but when I went to check out I couldn’t have the nh-u14s fan I wanted so I had to downgrade to the cooler master. Is this going to be good enough for a i5 10600k processor?
I’d have gone for the h80i but was slightly concerned as I’ve never had any liquid cooling before and if it requires maintenance I wouldn’t know what to do.
I was looking for the quietest fan solution whatever that is

I picked the CORSAIR ICUE 220T RGB AIRFLOW MID TOWER GAMING CASE. What would you class that as?

I wasn’t sure about the rgb part of it, I guess it lights up so I wasn’t that bothered by it. I was considering the normal h80i and h100x though

I have ordered my first custom built PC and chose the CORSAIR ICUE 220T RGB AIRFLOW MID TOWER GAMING CASE. But somethings been bothering me that I wanted to ask about.
Sometimes I play guitar through an amp, and also record via my PC. When I have a dimmer light on in my room, the interference can get bad so the light has to be off.
I was wondering if the lights in this PC are going to have a similar effect, I'm worried I've chose the wrong case if its going to create further noise issues when playing guitar.

The iCue 220T is a very budget case and as such, the fans aren't speed controllable, so just run at full tilt all the time, as such it can be quite loud.

If you want RGB still but quieter, something like the Lian Li would be the next best step up, but for serious noise control, the Fractal Define R7 is the best option.

The problem with that is its too big. I wanted something the same sort of size as the iCue

I'm not sure you'll find that I'm afraid, not in the selection that PCS do, you'd have to find a custom case and send it to PCS to build into.

One other thing, it always tells me when I proceed that I am using less power than the power supply I selected. I originally had a 650 watt but it said my max wattage was 431W so I've reduced it to 550. Is this reliable or should I stick to the 650?

I would stick with the 650TXm, anything under that and you sacrifice upgradeability.

I've had AMD for all my life and my computer has always been sluggish (I admit there may be other reasons for it) but I thought I'd try something different. I will use it for some gaming, but I'm not that big on it, just as and when. I mainly use the computer to general surfing the web! I just want a faster computer to be honest that be fast for a good while so I can not worry about it etc.

Regarding your changes.
I originally had the RMX 750 watt but it said I was using much less, so I went down to the TMX series. How much quieter is the RMX?
Likewise I also had the 3200MHz but I read somewhere that above 2666 wasn't noticeable.
I was also undecided about the motherboard, I read somewhere that the TUF was a budget option, so I thought going for the Rog might be a better long term option.
The cooler I've been undecided about the most, I just want something that is reliable and quiet, and the Noctua seems to be from all that I read.

Graphics - I currently have a GTX 1080 in my computer, which seems fine. I just thought I may as well upgrade while I can and hopefully it will last me a long time. It's the first time I'll have built a computer and I don't plan on doing it again anytime soon.

PSU - that sounds good, its a shame there isn't a 650w that I can have in the RMx. I know they do on Amazon but on pcspecialist site they start from 750w.

What AMD would you suggest above the i5? Although it doesn't seem that I can change that now, only Intel's are listing in my order.

An Intel build wouldn't have been recommended if asked prior to purchase. It's quite ironic as you have potentially opted for AMD when we would have recommended Intel... and now opting for Intel when we would recommend AMD.

Regardless:

The Motherboard won't make any odds to you Any "Z" motherboard is premium, there are no budget Z boards. Literally the only reason to get a Z board now is for the RAM speed. Non-Z boards don't allow for faster RAM and limit the speed to the processor default. With the Z motherboards, the labelled frequency is allowed.

Though be careful with warranty implications. Intel have really covered there backsides if you so much as consider a frequency bump on any part.

Enthusiasts are not best pleased with Intel right now.... you may have noticed ;)
