Problems locating second storage after reinstalling windows

On my cosmos they are a windows installed driver, so if you right click it go to properties, then update driver and see if windows update can find them

The right-hand one is likely part of the AMD chipset driver I believe. That should be available in your PCS downloads. That's quite probably the major source of your problems, though why Windows Update didn't pick it up I've no idea.

I'm not so sure the left hand one is the webcam. The vendor id 0x06CB is Synaptics, so it's more likely to be a touchpad or fingerprint scanner (probably the latter). Again the driver should be in the PCS downloads if Windows Update isn't finding it.

Spot on with the fingerprint lol.
Wasnt the chipset zip. Any other idea to what it may be or should I try to dowload the files one by one to see if that fixes it?

Damn - i saw this thread and was going to suggest this as i did on the other thread - but my pizza arrived....now you found it out :D



PS - I wonder how i knew that would be the reason.....5 years ago when my Defiance came, I logged a call with PCS helpdesk as my camera wasnt working....LOL :D :D :D - ever since then I check I've activated it. In my defence at that time though, we didnt have icons printed on the Function keys or near them...

Anyway the last unknown driver disappared after installing the airplane zip from my downloads on the PCSpecialist page

That's good, have we got your second drive back yet, if not give us a screenshot of disk management tool & lets see what we can work out
