Did you attach the two short antennas? They are in the Welcome Pack box and they simply screw on to the two outputs on the back of the wireless card.

Yes we did that and also tried turning router off and on but still no joy.

You say the pc says it cannot connect to the WiFi. So the pc can actually see your wireless network full strength, but just not connect to it??

We really need to see the full spec from your original order so that we all know what we're dealing with. :)

Yes, it just shows our 2g wifi and not 5g.
So you won't have a wifi card that can detect 5g networks then. You really need to post the fill spec including the motherboard and WiFi options you've chosen. But it should still be able to connect to the 2.4ghz channel if that's visible. What does it say when you try and connect to that network?

Is this a PCS build? If it is please post the full order specs as requested several times. We really can't help further until you do.

Looks like a curry's purchase yes??

300mbps is pretty poor for a wifi speed so you must have a budget wifi adaptor in there. Do you actually have the specific WiFi adapter in any paperwork?

I doubt it will be 5ghz specific.

Can you screenshot or upload a photo of exactly what it shows when you try to connect to the 2.4ghz network?

It's also important to ask, are your 5GHz and 2.4GHz networks actually separated and named individually? As usually they'd be named the same and devices will intelligently select either depending on various factors. IE, you would only ever see one network, but the devices would flit between 2.4 and 5GHz themselves for best reception.
