Yes we did that and also tried turning router off and on but still no joy.
Ethernet socket in room at other side of house so would be difficult.
Could you post your full PC specs so we can assist you a bit easier?
Could you not just unplug it and carry it and the monitor to that side of the house just to test?
It is a I7- 9700K 3.60ghz 3600mhz GPURTX2060 .We really need to see the full spec from your original order so that we all know what we're dealing with.
Yes, it just shows our 2g wifi and not 5g.

Can you post the full specs from the order page? We need the full specs as all components could relate to the issue.
So you won't have a wifi card that can detect 5g networks then. You really need to post the fill spec including the motherboard and WiFi options you've chosen. But it should still be able to connect to the 2.4ghz channel if that's visible. What does it say when you try and connect to that network?

300mbps is pretty poor for a wifi speed so you must have a budget wifi adaptor in there. Do you actually have the specific WiFi adapter in any paperwork?
I doubt it will be 5ghz specific.
Can you screenshot or upload a photo of exactly what it shows when you try to connect to the 2.4ghz network?

It's also important to ask, are your 5GHz and 2.4GHz networks actually separated and named individually? As usually they'd be named the same and devices will intelligently select either depending on various factors. IE, you would only ever see one network, but the devices would flit between 2.4 and 5GHz themselves for best reception.
