Prime Day Deals Thread

Given that I recently added RGB lighting to our bookshelves, I need to tread lightly for now. Mrs Cooper may smother me with a (sadly non-RGB) pillow if I bring any more into the household 😬

Hi Lads hopefully someone can help me out on this one as I'm clueless. I'm looking at getting a pair of wireless ear buds, my budget is flexible but say cap of around £80. Generally I want something with good sound quality for music/podcasts more than anything

Any recommendations, these are currently the ones I'm looking at. Mate from work has told me to be careful of generations as some are drastically better than others for similar prices but like I say I'm clueless on this. Cheers

The Echo buds are seriously good value for money. They are comparable with far higher end buds, £100 plus normally. I would personally be opting for them. I considered them when I got my Sony XM3's.

Ordered the Echo Buds and a new Deathadder... my next question is how do I hide this from the missus?

is 2 x G9 overkill?
If that's a serious question, probably yes.

Reason being, they're gaming monitors which have 240Hz refresh, but with 2 of them you'd only be able to run them at 60hz which would kind of defeat the object.

If refresh rate wasn't important and you were only using them as displays rather than gaming, then there's no need for the high refresh rate and there are loads of monitors with normal refresh rates at the same resolution but with better colour accuracy for things like design and editing which would be more appropriate.

Logitech G815 LIGHTSYNC RGB Wired Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

It seems a good deal on prime day?

I know its not electronics etc, but this is a cracking deal for these mattresses:

Emma mattresses rarely do 50% off (usually only 40%) - in fact, 50% off was a special offer they gave to NHS employees in the first lockdown period as we grabbed one then - nows time to replace another mattress and Amazon Prime day sees 51% off

Man, I LOVE the Emma mattresses.

I'm not moving for another couple of years but do have my eye on one when I do.

Man, that's a good deal!

Aye - no 4k TV for me - just a new double mattress for the spare room LOL :D

Oh well, have to wait until this old LG 32" breaks and I can claim off my extended warranty that I'm paying monthly...

I keep looking, but it’s almost reverse psychology with me, as I get seriously pee’d off with these companies (Emma, Simba, Eve, Nectar, et al) following the DFS model of having a different sale on every other week…so I assume any price they state is just ripping you off and they’re making lots of money from a cheap foam mattress

Is this a good deal or decent keyboard. It seems maybe too much of a discount so I’m suspicious?
My problem with it is it's still very expensive, you can get really good mechanical keyboards in that price range without the "what if"

That would be my thoughts at least
